To get to the next level players must spend significant time working on their own outside of games and team practices. They need to focus heavily on individual skill development (as well as strength, speed, and sport-specific agility.) We help players by showing them exactly what to work on and how to train in the most efficient manner. Our goal is to help every player be the best they possibly can and succeed on the court when it matters most.

FAQ

1. What exactly is private training? 

Private training is individual or small group work focusing on the wide variety of skills needed to succeed in basketball. From ball-handling to attack moves, shooting technique to footwork, we help players practice efficiently and systematically develop the fundamentals of the game.

2. Why should I invest in individual or small group training? 

Private training will help you get better faster. You will not get much better by only playing games. Although games are important, it is impossible to significantly improve your individual skills in 5-on-5. The work must be done in the gym on your own (the goal is to then take what you work on and implement it in games). Investing in private training will help you do this the right way. We will show you exactly what to work on, plus show you what to continue practicing throughout the week, so you can quickly and consistently improve. Private basketball lessons can drastically accelerate your growth as a player.

3. Can't I just practice on my own?

You can, but in our experience too many players either neglect individual skill development or simply waste time when they are on the court. They often don't know what to work on or how to practice effectively. While being on the court is obviously better than staying home, we can show you how to get much more done in less time. To be the best player possible you have to train intelligently. We can show you how. We will teach you how to practice hard and smart, focusing on what matters most.

4. Who are the coaches? 

The head coach for private training is Brandon Wolfram. Brandon played 4 years at UTEP (3 time all conference, 2 time Academic All-American) and 5 years professionally in Spain. He is licensed with USA Basketball, the NSCA, and the IYCA.  He works with athletes of all ages and specializes in skill development, shooting, and sports performance.

5. How long and where are the sessions? 

Each session (unless otherwise agreed to) is 1 hour long and will be held at our gym at 645 Wallenberg, Ste. B-1 in west El Paso. Training at other locations is available upon request.  

6. How often should I train?  

We normally work with players once or twice a week for one hour. We then give each player a few things to work on during the week. It is vitally important to continue practicing and training as much as possible, fitting in skill development around team practice and games. The more you train, and the smarter you practice, the better you will be. 

7. How do I get started?
